  • Some small business websites?

Posted by admin on November 9th, 2008 and filed under Small Business Websites | 1 Comment »

A friend of mine is thinking of buying a small, "hole in the wall" restaraunt. Any body know of a Federal Government website or Indiana state website where he could get information on applying for a loan and other assistance??
imisidro, thanks for your time, I'll forward this to my friend. Have a good week.

He can get a government-guaranteed loan through the Small Business Administration http://www.sba.gov/financing . Read the SBA Financing page to learn about criteria needed for borrowing

In Indiana, he can go to the following organizations for assistance to help him start his business:

    SBA Indiana http://www.sba.gov/in/
    Indiana SBDC http://www.isbdc.org/

He may also want to check the following resources on How to Start a Business

    Indiana’s Business Guide http://www.in.gov/sic/owners/index.html
    Indiana’s Licensing and permits http://www.in.gov/ai/licensing/
